BASS BEATS
AND MELODY
2026
Ninety-one minutes, forty-seven tracks, no breaks. House, tech house, and rock remixes that behave like club records. Dan plays the guitar over it. His twelve-year-old plays the drums. The original is called "Let Loose" and it lands near the end.
What it is
A mix, not a playlist. Forty-seven tracks welded end to end. The front is the warm-up, classic and modern house. The middle takes a hard left into tech house and rock remixes, Metallica, Mr. Brightside, Crazy Train. The back half is performance edits and "Let Loose," then it exits clean.
Who is playing
Same format Dan first tried at B96 Summer Bash in 2003 and got right at Summer Bash in 2009, in front of twenty-five thousand people at Toyota Park. Guitar by Dan Morrell, played live over the mix and not sampled into it. Drums by his son Daniel, age 12, who performs as Daniel Jaxon. "Let Loose" sits near the back as the payoff before the close.
Where to listen
Free on YouTube, SoundCloud and Mixcloud. All 91 minutes, no ads, no breaks. The tracklist is on the homepage, and every row seeks straight to that point in the mix.
