BBM 2026 is a 91 minute performance-driven DJ mix by Dan Morrell. One continuous journey: classic and modern house, tech house, crossover rock remixes, performance edits, and a brand new original ("Let Loose") with live guitar and live drums threaded through the entire set.
What it is
Bass Beats and Melody 2026 is a continuous DJ mix, not a playlist. 47 tracks, blended end to end, designed to be played front to back. Side A is the warm-up: classic and modern house. The middle takes a hard left into tech house and a few crossover rock remixes (Metallica, Mr. Brightside, Crazy Train). The back half hits performance edits and the original "Let Loose," then exits clean.
The live guitar / live drums concept
BBM 2026 carries the same format Dan launched at B96 Summer Bash in 2007: DJ plus live guitar. The live guitar is performed by Dan Morrell. The live drums are by his son Daniel Morrell, age 12, who performs as Daniel Digs In. The original track, "Let Loose," sits at the back of the set as the payoff before the close.
